Appearance
Shagiel is gorgeous. She has one of those really tall and slender builds. Her mother was Korean, her father Jamaican, and she was raised in Russia. It blends an interesting mix. Her legs are long, and her torso slim, breasts a medium size.
She loves to wear the colors black and light gray, reflective of her personality. She refuses to wear a witch hat, instead she wears the cloak. Its long and paper thin, hugging her chest and hips but flaring everywhere else. Its midnight black, and is simply for modesty not warmth. The hissing of her sleeves always accompanies the sound of her stiletto heels as she walks about giving her stride a very unique accompaniment.

Quirks
Can't stand heat. Her room is so cold that water freezes and you can see your breath.

Personality
She is confident and it radiates off her in that silent presence that earns her so much respect. People fear her for what she is, and she is OK with that. She really doesn't care about other's opinions, they haven't gotten her very far in life anyway. She calculates and analyzes things before jumping into them, often acting as a spectator and rarely as a participant. Her defenses are very high, and it takes a lot to tear down her confidence. The only thing that actually bugs her is loosing. As a result she is extremely competitive, her and her sister are arch rivals. Once she sees a goal she doesn't give up, no matter what the cost.
She rarely lets anyone inside that cold shell that she has built around herself. She finds few worthy, and has a difficult time tolerating most people. Those that are in her inner circle, at the current moment its only her sister, are protected by all her powers and her life. She is not afraid to die, and will put her life on the line for a close friend. She is rarely wrong, but that's another thing that throws her off. When she is, she shuts out the problem and ignores it. She can pick up on emotion very well, and has a bit of empathy, but tends to ignore it. Therefore, if you look to her for sympathy you will probably get a cynical look and a cruel word.
She also cannot comprehend a normal person's fear of death. She has walked it's gates and fought its demons and she knows its secrets like an old family tale. Those that fear death she treats with contempt or inferiority. She is confident, convincing, determined, and fiercely protective of her relations, but she is rigid, militant, cold, closed, and an isolationist.

History
Shagiel was born 20 minutes prior to her sister at 11:40 pm in a small town in Russia. She was supposed to be a stillborn, and when she came out alive, nobody knew she lived until she squirmed about a bit in the towels. She came out silent and has stayed relatively quiet ever since. As an older sister she quickly developed a sense of responsibility and a need to be superior to her nagging twin. When she was five she was already showing necromancy potential and went into private training. Her story is that of a child prodigy, of that smart kid in the back with their head in a book and a shiny apple for lunch. Her parents didn't favor her though, they stayed neutral on everything. After all, necromancy isn't the best and most respected skill to have, although it is feared. She studied extensively under the best experts until she hit age ten when she made her first trip into death. Her pet cat was killed when hit by a car on a trip into the muggle towns, and when she ran to its dying side she was sucked into death with it. She knew what the place was and had no fear, even without her pan pipes by her side. She managed to not only extract her spirit from death's waters but also her cats. She animated the corpse for two weeks before it started to stink and her parents began to wonder. But ever since then death has been her favorite place to wander.
Six years later she got more curious and began to explore things that ran past the third gate, going all the way back to the seventh and eight. As a result she also met some of death's less friendly inhabitants, and began to bind and control dead demons and spirits. Three of the most powerful are at her beck and call: Talieth, the snake god, Anubis, god of the ancients, and Xen, the shadow beast. She is surprisingly cordial with these deadly creatures and as a result they respect her a bit more than most murderous beasts would. That doesn't mean however, if she ever wandered into death without them bound, they wouldn't rip her to shreds.
When she was eighteen she got into a very nasty fight with a dark magician that had the rare skills in necromancy. She had never been forced to fight with her powers before, and she was thrown past all the eight gates and to the ninth. She should have drown in death's waters and began her final slumber but she managed to call on Xun, Xen's twin, and she dragged Shagiel out to the eight gate where Shagiel dragged herself back into life. As a result Xun was lost, and Shagiel was in a coma for six months.
At 24, when she was getting her teaching license, Seneth, death's summoner, came for her and escorted her all the way to the ninth gate. It was her time to die, she was suffering from a very bad disease that she had acquired when she bound Anubis (a nasty side affect). She had lay down and let the waters swallow her and was just dozing into eternal slumber when death herself awoke Shagiel and basically kicked her out of the ninth gate on her ass. Shagiel was a bit confused about this, but accepted the fact that death had second guessed her time, and sent her back. She is world famous as the only necromancer to have ever turned away from the final gate twice.

Theme Song
Comin' down the world turned over
And angels fall without you there
And I go on as you get colder
Or are you someone's prayer?

You know the lies they always told you
And the love you never knew
What's the things they never showed you
That swallow the light from the sun inside your room, yeah

Comin' down the world turned over
And angels fall without you there
And I go on as you get colder
Always someone there

And there's no time left for losin'
When you stand they fall, yeah
