I'm  working as Asst. Professor of Electronics; My specialisation is Electronics.

Power electronics is a branch of Electrical & Electronics Engineering which deals with the control and conversion of Electrical power using semiconductor devices like SCR, IGBT, MOSFET etc., Power electronics has an important place in modern technology and is used in a great variety of power products, including heat controls, motor controls, power supplies, vehicle propulsion systems and high-voltage direct-current systems (HVDC).
