SS 13 - Anglo-Italia FC 2   23rd August 2005
This weeks match was against a team that was bottom of the table and after last weeks drubbing hopefully a welcome opponent.

The match started well with us taking a 4 0 lead in the first 4 minutes, with 2 good goals form Andy, a deflected free kick from me and another a goal from Tom. At this point it looked like we were going to score few and continued to dominate. A bright moment from them was there first half penalty, which I couldnt understand why it was given, but they scored anyway. At half time it was roughly 6 1 to us.

The 2nd half started in the same vein of form and with our attacking ability managed to score another 7, with some good goals from Paul & Andy. I did feel sorry for there keeper, as he was barraged with shots. They scored a good goal from there own half, which Dave didnt see, to double there goals total. The goal scorers on the night were Paul (5), Andy (4), Tom (2), James & I (1).

Overall a really good performance and a bright end to the season which showed what we can do.
SS 2 - Anglo-Italia FC 5   11th Oct 2005
This week we played against Anglo-Italia FC already knowing that D&B United had lost, therefore making us promoted.

The match started badly with us conceding a well worked goal, after our defence fell asleep. We proceeded to continue to play in that form conceding another 2, one of them an own goal, before Paul scored to get one on the board. At this point I thought the come back was on, but it wasnt to be.

The 2nd half was a bit more even, although there all round play didnt look like a team that hadnt won all season. They scored 2 in this half with neat well worked goals and probably deserved more. Our only consolation was Toms goal to make the score a bit more respectable.

Overall a poor performance, we didnt concentrate, but we had just been promoted so I am not going to be too harsh. Anglo-Italia played well and we didnt just walk over them, which was probably our mindset. They were hungry, solid, passed the ball well and fully deserved the win.
