Today I will go out.
No accompaniment at all
By myself, alone with...
One song
One thought
One voice
Singing, thinking, saying...
Singularity.
I will look high, low...
Searching so carefully
Through the lush denseness
Of the undergrowth, and...
Of the creeping, winding vineage...
Of the foliage
traveling up, up, up to...
Make a study of the horizon
Eyes scanning every puff
Of white and gray fluff
On the back drop of blue, blue, blue
To find that thing....
Singularity.
Somewhere between these...
The sunny blue heaven,
The flitting chartreuse flutterby
The fuzzy gray caterpillar
On fuzzier green moss
I will find it
And when the lonesomes
And the noisy-noises
Come to call again,
I will repeat the lesson learned
By mingling my mind
With my native landscape
And repeat the mantra earned
I need nothing less,
I need nothing more
Than that one thing
I need nothing else but me...
I need only....
Singularity!
