Another Spring Easter Lillies

Praises be to Him most high
That we may herald in another spring
Green leafed glory dresses trees,
Through the branches anthems ring
Sung by warming, southern winds
Whose balmy breathings do address
The love, beauty, the grace from high,
His holy full of love caress.

Easter Morn

Chapel bells do peal the call unto the children, so well dressed
In their pastel Easter finery that mother lovingly pressed
It harkens also somber elders, to dry their tears forlorn
To greet life's rebirth complete on beauteous Easter morn!

What springtime flora shouts His praise, the lily trumpets glory
Listen to the Reverend speak, hear you the Easter story
Realize the pain and suffering, then through your teary eyes,
Witness the Easter victory, God's champion did rise!

Know you why spring was chosen, and why we dress so bright
For Easter morn the battle won, we celebrate His light
That shown unto the whole world as the boulder rolled away
That we might kneel, and clasp our hands, and to our Father pray.
