Free Flow

Uninvited and unbidden
Images haunt, sins unforgiven
Stain the cloth that once was pure
When trust was held, honest and sure
I rush about, from task to task
When idle, I consult the flask
To run from them as they pursue
To open wounds that would bleed through
The cloth wound tight in tourniquet
Yet to stay pain, we must blood let
Hemorrhage free flow to cleanse
To weaken and make recompense
For what was not misunderstood
Just matters not, for there's no good
In anything to which we cling
Look now, dig deep is there something
You wish to say before I go
To open wound, to lie, bleed slow?
I hope that you will happy be
Find love and hope and surety
For I could not for mercy's sake
Find a sword in Lady's lake
If not, I'll let the curtain fall
It has been fine to know you all
