| The Sharples Volunteer Fire Department INC, Station 500 provides 24/7 emergency service to a 41 square mile area, in the northern part of Logan County, West Virginia. We are dispatched via our county 911 Command Center located in Logan, WV. Our services include , but are not limited to, structural and vehicle fire response, Vehicle /Auto extrication, search and rescue, basic hazardous materials incidents, basic fire investigation, public service calls, and mutual aid response with neighboring Fire Departments in our surrounding area. Medical response is provided in conjunction with Logan County Ambulance Station 60, which is adjacent to the Fire DEPT, and is on call 24/7. Station 500 and the Logan County Ambulance Authority are funded by, Federal, State, and County. |
