History: The Original Series
She appeared first in Fire and Ice, in which she saved Graystripe from drowning in the river that served as the boundary. Later, she continues to secretly meet Graystripe, which was forbidden in the warrior code.

She tells Graystripe that she is going to have his kits, but when the birth comes, it goes wrong and she dies giving life to Featherkit and Stormkit. She was buried near the river.

The New Prophecy:
She guided her dead daughter, Feathertail, to StarClan.

Leafpaw thought she saw two silver cats watching Crowpaw (Crowfeather) keep vigil beside Feathertail's grave. They were thought to be Silverstream and Feathertail, as they looked like and one was taller than the other.

The Lost Warriors
Silverstream has only appeared once, to tell Graystripe that he mustn't give up and must go and find his Clan to rejoin.
