While protecting the territory and making it safe helps the Clan survive, it won't last long without a good food source. If a Clan is to travel somewhere, fresh-kill is needed so that they won't starve. Queens and Clan elders eat first, because they can't hunt, and warriors and apprentices eat afterward. Leaders eat last from the pile.
RiverClan usually hunt fish and woodland prey.
ThunderClan hunts squirrels, mice, shrews, voles, some birds, and rabbits.
WindClan eat mainly rabbits on the moors.
The Tribe of Rushing Water eats mountain prey, mice, voles, shrews, the occasional rabbit, and eagles and hawks are the meals here.
ShadowClan eat lizards and toads that come from their gloomy territory, but there are also some woodland prey too eat as well.
ThunderClan hunter:
A ThunderClan cat lives in undergrowth, in thick forests, so to hunt they stay downwind of the prey, stalk it, and pounce to gather fresh-kill.
RiverClan hunter:
RiverClan stand on the bank of a river, and hook out fish with their claws before killing. Otherwise they hunt woodland prey.
WindClan hunter:
WindClanners are small, and their territory is barren and will not hide much. It's better to pursue it and kill it quickly.
ShadowClan hunter:
ShadowClan are better at hiding than any other, so they stalk their prey and attack.
Tribe hunter:
The Tribe hunts in groups, they wait for the prey to come close before striking, or pursue it across bare rock. They attack eagles and hawks and sometimes use smaller prey as a lure for them.
