BROTHERSHIPPING: BRAMBLECLAW X HAWKFROST

Starlight, Page 209
Brambleclaw could not shake off the feeling that he had waited a long time for this moment. For all the differences between them, the same blood ran in their veins. So? Tawnypelt has the same blood, why dont you feel a special connection with her? Interesting
Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw, Starlight, Page 210
I must go too. Hawkfrost touched noses with Brambleclaw and began padding towards back to the camp entrance. No wait. Dont go! Brambleclaw called.
Brambleclaw, Starlight, Page 221
Ill see Hawkfrost again! I can ask him about the dream!
Starlight, Page 222
Brambleclaws paws tingled with the thought that he would soon see his half brother again.
These quotes demonstrate Brambleclaw tingling at the thought hell see Hawkfrost again and not wanting him to leave his side.
Hawkfrost, Starlight, Page 230
Dont worry; Im not one of the cats who thinks cats from different Clans shouldnt have anything to do with each other.
Starlight, Page 231
[Hawkfrosts] voice was level, mildly curious rather than hostile, and it was impossible for Brambleclaw to disagree.
Hawkfrost [to Brambleclaw], Starlight, Page 232
Youre strong and skillful and you uphold the warrior code.
Now here, Brambleclaw seems to agree with everything Hawkfrost says, and may be quite surprised to receive a compliment back.
Starlight, page 234
[Brambleclaw] wanted to call Hawkfrost back, but a touch on his shoulder distracted him.
Brambleclaw, Starlight, Page 235
Hawkfrosts my brother. Cant you see that means I want to get to know him better?
Now, when Squirrelflight obviously wants to get into the way of this shipping, Brambleclaw throws in the excuse he wants to get to know him better interesting no?
Squirrelflight, Starlight, Page 235
Im not as important to you as other cats are as Hawkfrost is.
This quote states that Hawkfrost is possibly more important than Squirrelflight, or any other cat really.
Starlight, Page 236
As the cats gathered around, Brambleclaw saw Hawkfrost gazing curiously at him.Another plain simple quote.
Starlight, Page 304
As Brambleclaw raked his claws over the cats face he felt a stab of relief that he didnt have to fight Hawkfrost yet.Why not? You would knowingly face Tawnypelt, so why not him?
Starlight, page 306
Ahead of him the cats parted to reveal a huge tabby tom with powerful shoulders padding towards him. Brambleclaw looked up, eye to eye with his brother. Hawkfrosts expression was unreadable; his ice-blue eyes glittered with moonlight.
Starlight, Page 307
[Brambleclaw] did not stop to ask himself what he would do if he had to face Hawkfrost. So far, they had not faced each other in battle why not? Brambleclaw himself does not want to ask himself what he would do if he had to face his brother in battle.
Starlight, Page 315
[Hawkfrost] and Brambleclaw gazed at each other.
Brambleclaw, Starlight, Page 315
You saved my life Why, Hawkfrost? Why did you help me and not him?
Starlight, Page 315
Even in the darkness the young ThunderClan warrior could not break away from the compelling ice-blue eyes. For a few moments the two of them seemed alone in the world, enclosed by the turmoil of the storm.
Hawkfrost, Starlight, Page 315
But youre my brother, Brambleclaw. How could I let him kill you?
Yet again, Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost stare at each other and Hawkfrost cannot let Mudclaw, his ally, destroy his own brother
Starlight, Page 316
[Hawkfrost] lifted his head; Brambleclaw thought he had never seen a cat look so noble, even bleeding and muddy from the battle.
Starlight, Page 319
Hawkfrost bowed his head, and Brambleclaw felt his belly clench in horror at what Onewhisker might to in revenge
.Again, Brambleclaw sees nobility in Hawkfrost... and is worried about how Onewhisker may act.
Squirrelflight, Twilight, Page 26
Its just Brambleclaw wont listen to a word I say! He cares about Hawkfrost far more than he cares about me. I dont see why he would take Hawkfrosts word over mine.
Twilight, Page 26
Since [Squirrelflight] had witnessed his growing relationship with his half brother, Hawkfrost, she had felt her trust melt away like dew.
Squirrelflight, Twilight, Page 26
If Brambleclaw wants to go off with Hawkfrost, its none of my concern.
These quotes demonstrate that Squirrelflight seems hurt that Brambleclaw has left her... for his brother, a tom at that!
Brambleclaw, Twilight, Page 35
You think Im disloyal, because I have kin in another Clan. I saw you watching me when I was with Hawkfrost by the lake.
Dustpelt, Twilight, Page 62
Onestar probably thinks you and Hawkfrost were working together all along.
Now, most cats think that Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw are obviously together but for what reason?
Twilight, Page 28
Squirrelflight saw Brambleclaw nod as if he were thinking of Hawkfrost.
Twilight, Page 72
There was no need for Brambleclaw to behave like this not unless he was punishing [Squirrelflight] for being suspicious about Hawkfrost.
Now here, hes abusing power to punish cats for being suspicious about his half-brother!
Twilight, Pages 34 and 35
It was bad enough that Brambleclaw refused to admit that Hawkfrost was untrustworthy, without having him held up as a model of courage and fighting skill as well.
This next quote shows Brambleclaw always rather showing off his half-brother.
Twilight, Page 73
As soon as the broad-shouldered tabby warrior landed on the pebbles, he veered away to join another muscular warrior, as much like Brambleclaw as his reflection in the lake.
Hawkfrost, Twilight, Page 74
There you are, Brambleclaw I was hoping youd be here tonight. Come on theres something I want to show you.
These quotes are pretty obvious.. but what does Hawkfrost show him?
Tigerstar, Sunset, Page 20
Together, Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw will show Firestar that the battle is far from won.
Not much of a quote really, just something to slide in there.
Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight, Sunset, Page 70
Do you think we ought to warn the other Clans about the fox traps? Youre thinking of Hawkfrost, arent you?
Brambleclaw, Sunset, Page 70
Did you really think I just wanted to warn RiverClan because of Hawkfrost?
Squirrelflight, Sunset, Page 71
I just dont like to feel that Hawkfrost is as important to you as your Clanmates.
Here Brambleclaw is still rather obsessing over his brother.
Sunset, Page 31
Brambleclaw took a sharp breath, ready to defend his brother. Were his Clanmates going to blame Hawkfrost for the badger attack?
Sunset, Page 92
Hawkfrost fought as fiercely as if every badger in the world were attacking him, giving Brambleclaw a chance to recover.
Now Brambleclaw seems to do anything to protect his brother and his brother returns the favor as well.
Sunset, Page 159
[Hawkfrost] glanced across at Brambleclaw as if he expected his half brother to support him. Brambleclaw met his gaze, and then looked away.
Brambleclaw, Sunset, Page 229
Hawkfrost had a point. You shouldnt have attacked him.
Now in these two quotes, they obviously expect support of each other which they do most of the time.
Sunset, Page 229
Did [Stormfur] realize Brambleclaw was closer to his half brother than some cats might think?
Sunset, Page 265
Hawkfrost padded over to him and swept his tail across Brambleclaws shoulder.
Sunset, Page 266
Brambleclaw turned to go, only to glance back as Hawkfrost called his name. His half brothers ice-blue gaze was fixed on him with glittering intensity.
Now these quotes are obvious, as they are recalling their relationship.. closer than most siblings.
Hawkfrost, Sunset, Page 266
You wont forget our meeting?
Sunset, Page 270
Would Squirrelflight still want to be near him, would her eyes still glow as she looked at him, if she knew he had arranged to meet Hawkfrost tomorrow?
Now, we see they have arranged to meet interesting
Sunset, Page 288
In the same heartbeat something heavy crashed down on him, sending him tumbling over. He let out a yowl of alarm Flipping over to face his attacker; Brambleclaw stared up at Hawkfrost, who was gazing down at him with a glimmer of amusement in his ice-blue eyes.
Just a playful moment there, which Hawkfrost doesnt do much... nor do we see much of amusement from him.
Sunset, Page 288
Come under the ferns, he meowed, flicking his tail to beckon Hawkfrost.
think about it and perhaps youll get it
Sunset, Page 299
Hawkfrost! Brambleclaw gasped. I I didnt want this.
Sunset, Page 299
Brambleclaw gazed down at him. There was so much more that he needed to know but Hawkfrost was dead.
Sunset, Page 299
For a moment, his half brothers voice echoed softly in his ears: We will meet again, my brother. This is not over yet.
Sunset, Page 302
Yet there was no pride or satisfaction in [Brambleclaws] gaze; his eyes were shadowed with horror, and he seemed to be listening to something no other cat could hear.
Now in these last few quotes ends the possibility of the pairing. Brambleclaw supposedly didnt want to kill his brother, but apparently their relationship was all a fake from Hawkfrosts view. And strange he hears his brothers voice just after hes dead something we havent seen in the many deaths in Warriors.
