Welcome to my Website
SGT William K. Sharp
I began my military service on December 8, 1995 with 146th Transportation Company out of Ogden, Utah. I went to Ft. Jackson, South Carolina for my Basic Combat Training (BCT) and then I went to Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri for my Advance Individual Training (AIT). After completion I was assigned to the 146th Transportation Company in the summer of 1996. I hade been to many places with the unit to include Guatemala. I had been with the 146th for 5 1/2 years then I decided to get some active duty time. On May 24, 2001, I entered Active Duty Army where I was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri with HHC, 58th Transportation Company helping with the training of new recruits. On January 14, 2003 I had left for Korea, I was assigned to B Company 702d in a HETs Platoon, where we were the cause of major movements. I enjoyed my tour so much that I volunteered to do another tour in Korea, but was quickly denied. I then was stationed at my final duty station on active duty at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina where I was assigned to HHB, XVIII Airborne Corps, Artillery. I was first assigned as a driver for the Corps, Artillery Command Sergeant Major and Brigadier General. I was then put in the Training Room where I had learned alot of administration work, although I did not care for it, I had asked to be reassigned to the Motor Pool where I can employ my skills as a leader and train soldiers. My discharge from active duty was January 20, 2005 with an Honorable Discharge. Now that I have moved back to Utah, I am planning to get back into my old unit 146th Transportation Company and make it my home again.

Basic Combat Training (BCT)
Advanced Individual Training (AIT) 88M Motor Transport.
