July 1, 1997 - On a whim we dropped by an auto dealer to see what vans may be available.
We left the dealership driving a "power everything" 1995 Plymouth Grand Voyager (including color TV, VCR, TWO stereo systems and "Star Trek" lighting!) The Van has 11K miles on it, still under factory warrantee and looks and runs like new!

July 4, 1997 - We spent the evening at Pattys house watching fireworks and enjoying dinner.

July 5, 1997 - Took Sharon to Emergency room at 2am. She was having problems breathing due to fireworks smoke

July 23, 1997 - The City of Des Moines "Waterland Festival" begins! Sharon, Jeff and I Spent 4 hours at the Carnival watching Jeff ride the rides while we enjoyed watching, eating, music and the grand fireworks (from a distance this time)
