Jason's elimination from American Idol stage

Jason Castro's being off AI competition made me want to watch and hear his music more. I've downloaded 12 of his songs on ITunes. I was not mistaken that he has a very soothing voice and a great one at that. It's amazing to learn that he just started singing when he learned to play guitar three years ago.

His elimination also made me check UTube for more of Jason Castro's before and after joining AI info as AI website has limited information. I found this site which gave me more info about his interview right after the show on result night.

It's also good to know that Jason's great attitude on result night created a positive judgment about his true personality. Many blog sites have great things to say about him. His initial call interview shed many truths about him, all in the affirmative. One blog said that you cannot help liking this guy more, even after his elimination. Many said that they will miss him and his laid back demeanor. One blog said that he is the only Idol contestant that will come down in American Idol history who was so happy and excited to be voted off. He said he felt the pressure was lifted. He was very honest to say that he made a mistake of forgetting the lyrics, but would not beat himself up for making that mistake. He felt that his time on the Idol stage has come to an end, which he considered the right time for him. He was burned out and could not concentrate and connect with his new songs (to learn in a week's time) anymore.

Jason's interview after result night was the best one I've ever watched in the whole time I've been watching AI exit interviews every year. He seemed goofy and acted unsure of himself each week, but his exit interview and conference call unraveled a young man with substance. I was not mistaken to assume though that he is humble, honest and well raised by his parents. His demeanor showed it week after week. He has a Christian background that confirmed as to why he is so mellow, laid back and seemed to have joy and peace in his heart no matter what adversity or challenge he is facing.

One answer that made me knew he is real and not pretending to be nice to get more votes is this:

Let's talk about Tuesday night. When Simon said no one should ever cover ''I Shot the Sheriff,'' did you think of reminding him that Eric Clapton did a great cover of the song?
You know, sometimes he says things that are obviously wrong. But no, I wouldn't have said that to him. My mom taught me never to make a person look wrong. I am just respectful. It's my place to sing a song and his place to judge.

Here's the site that has his conference call first thing in the morning after the result night:

The above is the best interview which was Jason's interview with AI Extra right after the show. This is Part I and they have more on UTube of his interview, plus the rest of the AI's idols' exit interviews.
