Well, it's about time that Brooke left the AI stage of the final competition this season. She is sweet and all, but she has also become truly annoying. She is a 'trying hard' to be on your face week after week competitor, but just doesn't have a great talent on her own, sans her piano and guitar props. After a while, you just get tired of her overzealous personality. She was so irritating that I was hoping last night that it was her already that get eliminated. Finally, it was her and now the beat goes back on American Idol.

I'm glad though that Jason Castro is still there. He becomes my favorite, but I know that he will not be on Top 2. Being on Top 4 is not too shabby either. Having said that, American Idol, season 7 belongs to David Cook. I just hope that he shows much more explosive performances these coming four episodes of AI. He has to be doubly outstanding to beat the rest of them to garner more votes. According to DialIdol, Syesha was the top vote getters this week. So, David Cook did not do so well on Neil Diamond week. There's no record anywhere on the internet about tex messaging scores, so I am just basing this opinion on DialIdol call survey.

I give props to Syesha Mercado. Being the perennial bottom 3/bottom 2 contestant, she surely is the dark horse of this season. She might even be on Top 2 or win it all, if both Davids have future lackluster performances. They need to up a notch or two in the quality of their performances or else Syesha might surprise us all. It could be true with Jason Castro, if he shows a uniqueness that could get the best reviews and votes. It is really up to these two on how to outshine the best and already annointed winner of American Idol, Season 7.

Good luck to the four of them--- Although these are not the ideal Top 4 I have in mind this season, the four of them are not irritating and annoying to watch either, in my opinion.
