A Viewer of American Idol...
A Blog that revolves around American Idol of the past- my favs from Season One to the present. This is my take!
Mariah Carey songs Night on Idol last night...

According to DialIdol, the three lowest vote getters are: Carly, Brooke and, Syesha is at the bottom.

Who will go home tonight? Syesha had a good performance last night. If I based it on that, it could be Brooke that will say goodbye. Her version of Hero was the worst I've ever heard. She seemed like she was not even responsive with the song she was singing because she seemed her mind was somewhere else; more in dazed that she was rushing the song and wanted it to be over already.

Carly definitely cannot sing the song Without You as effectively as Kelly Clarkson. Carly has a good voice but she lacks that believable touch to the songs. Having said that, it could be her to say goodbye this time.

Kelly's performance night of Without You in Season 1

Then singing it again on result night, Kelly outdid her performance the previous night. With Kelly's interpretation, you can feel that she could really not live without that person in her life. Her interpretation is so believable that a lot of viewers can relate to her feelings because they felt the same way at one time or another.

Last week, DialIdol showed Carly at the bottom. This time around, it is Syesha. So, if the result night is not manipulated by the AI powers that be, Syesha is the one going home although she had a better performance compared to Brooke and Carly because she has the lowest votes being at the very bottom.

I'm glad Jason Castro is still part of the show. He had a good night last night. This guy is so charismatic. I thought that Kristy was good last night also. She pretty much sealed her place in the country music world being able to stay this long. Unless, the Idol powers that be decide that she will be part of the bottom three even though she is safe according to DialIdol.

At any rate, after tonight, there will only be six Idol hopefuls. It's starting to look like it will be the Davids that will face off at the finale if there's no more shocking result in the offing. After last week, the only surprising result will be if David Cook or David Archuleta get booted off the show.
footnotes:
Was I right, or was I RIGHT?! Kristy was predicted to not be voted off tonight, but aside from not only being part of the bottom three, she was the one voted off when she has more votes than Brooke, Carly and Syesha. I'm glad that I don't vote anymore and don't waste my precious time voting after the show. I wised up... the last say who stays and who leaves is not in the hands of the voters; this was already figured out and was the talks of many community blogs every season. I just see the reality of it much better now, thanks to DialIdol.
Hopefully, Kristy will do well and get a country record deal. AI mgmt sees that she's not someone who will bring big bucks to them, but so does Brooke, Carly and Syesha.
