A SURPRISE American Idol Elimination Result on April 10, 2008

I missed watching this last night, but was able to tape the one they performed tonight of the same song: Shout to the Lord. Last night's song was sang without Jesus' name but tonight, I believe I heard Jesus name there. I guess AI does not want to offend the secular group of celebs with the mention of the name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ last night. How sad is that.

Michael Johns' elimination was a surprise. An UPSET! Michael's name is second to Brooke White, ( who was safe) on DialIdol.com, and below his name is David Cook, Syesha and Carly. Sounds fishy to me and it really does smell that I would think that the AI power ups have something to do with his elimination. Carly knew by watching her reaction on TV that it's her that got the lowest votes. She accepted it the way she reacted and she truly believe it's her and not Michael Johns. I think AI MGMT wants to create a buzz to a predictable result each week. Michael was just chosen to be the sacrificial lamb this season among the eight. I would really think with DialIdol and now TIVO, they would get it right. If it's not Carly, obviously, it would be Syesha, but definitely not Michael Johns. But it's getting so predictable that AI is losing it's excitement. Michael was just the right choice that could create a steam among the viewers and make the remaining seven to pick better songs so being eliminated will not happen to them so soon. Michael is one of the Top 3 contestants with the whole package written success for him. He already stepped up ahead of Brooke, Carly, Syesha, Kristy and Jason C. in talent, and he has voters dedicated to dial every week for him as proven by DialIdol and TIVO. It just happens he is the best to let go for some impact to get the viewers create a wave of discontent that could make the show the talk of the town at least this week, especially after the dismal and unexciting event they had on Idol gives back last night.

Whoever is behind Michael Johns elimination is a CORKER!

Anyway, Michael is touring and hopefully, he makes it big and prove his detractors wrong.
