According to DialIdol.com, the three lowest vote getters are: David Cook, Syesha Mercado and at the bottom is Carly Smithson. Simon predicted last night that she is in danger, I guess to be voted out of AI Thursday night.
In fairness, for me they were all good, even Kristy Lee Cook. But someone has to go and as I've always commented here, the least who could not connect to Simon, will be eliminated or be part of the bottom three. The bottom three this time did not do too well with Simon and Carly got the most heat from Simon.
Jason Castro did very well with the judges this time. When he started singing with his ukelele, I first thought of Tiny Tim
, but he is so charming that I just put aside my critical thought and concentrated on his delivery of the song. It was a good interpretation of Somewhere Over the Rainbow the Jason C. way. DialIdol predicted him safe this time. I'm glad. I was really tempted to vote for him last night, but it was not necessary after all.

Michael Johns was very good as far as I am concerned. He delivered the song well no matter who he was imitating. David Cook was not impressive this time, and Brooke White is really trying hard to connect with her performance of You've Got a Friend. She seemed emotional and nervous, I guess from last week's reality check that she, too, has the possibility of being booted off this early in the AI game. Simon seemed careful on what to say to her for fear perhaps of making her cry right there on stage at that moment and get sympathy votes.
I thought Syesha Mercado delivered her version of I Believe better than Fantasia, a more refine performance than the original, "I Believe."
Having said that, she deserves another week of AI reality show than Carly or Brooke.
My bottom three prediction Thursday night would be: Syesha Mercado, Brooke White and Carly Smithson. Carly will be singing her swan song.
This season, It's only David Archuleta's fan base that can be considered very supportive of their Idol contestant. The rest does not have this type of support from their voters based on DialIdol survey of phone calls for each of the Idol contestants. "You are only as good as your last performance" is a good way to surmise the rest of the 7 contestants. It's pure LUCK of the draw.
