What's my view on Medical Image Reconstruction and Visualization (MIRV).

MIRV plays a very important  role in clinical practice.  The use of various 3D imaging and visualization tools such as CT/MRI image fusion, real-time volumetric and 3D surface rendering allows healthcare professionals like me, work with complex multi-modal imaging data with unsurpassed comfort, intuition and speed for a clearer 3D understanding of the patient's anatomy and for improved treatment planning.

I hope with the knowledge learnt from this course, I can improve tumor localization and detection.   I can also understand how the various algorithms in our imaging system works and develop new applications to work side by side with our planning systems to improve treatment accuracy and workflow.
