"BIRTH"
The popular question is that of
where one goes in death, but would it not be the same place that one came from
at birth? All bodies are born, and all bodies die. But what if where
consciousness comes from, and where it goes is one in the same? Without the
physical body, there is no birth or death as it is defined. Since the body is an
illusion created by thought, what we perceive of as birth and death, are merely
changes in existence due to conditions or circumstance. The "death" of
an ice cube becomes the "birth" of a puddle. The death of a puddle
becomes the birth of a cloud. The death of a boy becomes the birth of a man.
Death is a matter of opinion. We could easily call it Rebirth. Where is the
line? Does birth begin at conception or when awareness begins? Does death begin
when we can no longer communicate in a conscious state, or when the heart stops
beating? Is our last breath in one consciousness our first in another?
