Songs of Love, Jigs, and the Irish Band

I heard a song on the radio one day
And it never left my head
Like a broken record
It looped over and over again

I tried to catch the song agian
Yessir, indeed, I did
I heard the DJ say the name
Of the band that will become a household name

I simply couldn't resist the temptation
I tried to find all there records
And bless me, I did
All 7 of them, that including special editions, and counting

The group was from far away Ireland
Right beside Angle Land
They all look alike, right to the core
I found out they were siblings

The band is composed of 3 ladies and a gentleman
A lady on the fiddle, so elegant, so exceptional
Another lady on the drums, oh how great
She also plays the bodhran, which also puts rhythm in their songs

The only man plays almost every instrument
So adventurous, yet so quiet
The the last lady, the baby, is their singer
Pretty and petite, she also plays the Irish flute

I now couldn't resist listening to their music
Truly mellifluous, truly melodious
I am now hopelessly addicted
To the songs of love, jigs, and the Irish band
