There are actually 2 island beds in this photo. The bed in the foreground contains a dwarf ornamental crab tree which flowers white in the spring and later holds red berries. The bed is centered with St. John's Wort flowers and those are surrounded by annual dianthus.
The island bed in the background is shown in the 2nd and 3rd photos. It contains purple coneflowers, purple liatris, yellow coneflowers, blue balloon flowers, white balloon flowers, baby's breath, white daisies, lavender, hyssop, and plenty of yellow heliopsis. |
