Keep in mind that this website was designed to give you my experiences in growing flowers.  I do not proclaim to be an expert on plants. In fact, you will not find any information on how to prepare your soil or measure the ph of your soil because I do not know much about either. But I also feel that you do not have to be an expert to know that you probably need to add some type of compost or packaged manure, top soil or peat to the soil that you have. You never know what is possible until you try it.  I have prepared some beds by adding only top soil to my sandy soil and have had success with my plants.  Experimenting is half the fun!

Welcome to my site of flowers, shrubs and trees.  Here you will find information and pictures of my home flower beds that I have created in the past 11 years.  Eleven years of trial and error have brought me to this point. I have learned much along the way and wish to pass on some of my knowledge to others.
