I am hereunder listing down my academic achievements, which I am confident will assure you that you will benefit through my teaching.

Currently working as a Guest Lecturer in German language at Bangalore University in the Foreign Language Department. My present assignments include teaching German as a foreign language to the certificate and diploma courses. A course on German for the Business Management students is also expected to start soon. Besides teaching I am also doing translation work for some reputed software companies.

Professional Summary

Twelve years experience in teaching and translating German language:

Conducted 60 hours German class for a group of 20 software engineers at the premises of Tata Consultancy Services, Bangalore from August 1999 to November 1999.

2. Gave German classes (Elementary level, i.e 120 hours course for the beginners) at Max Mueller Bhavan, Bangalore, from May 1998 to April 1999.
3. Taught German to a class of 20 students of National Law School of India, Bangalore, at the elementary level, i.e., 120 hours course for the beginners on behalf of Max Mueller Bhavan, Bangalore, from April 1998 to November 1998.
4. Did some technical translations from German to English and vice-versa for a company and gave private tuition during my stay in Austria from March 1994 to July 1996.
5. Run my own institute, Deutsch Centre, in New Delhi, in cooperation with Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi, for teaching German Language specially to the beginners, from January 1992 to July 1994.
6. Taught German to Indonesian students in Indonesian Embassy school at New Delhi from April 1988 to April 1992. German was learnt as a third Language in XI & XII standard.
7. Worked as a regular school teacher for German Language in a reputed school in New Delhi, Manav Sthali School, from April 1988 to April 1992.
8. Did general as well as technical translations, German to English and vice-versa, for many reputed companies.
9. Assisted Dr. P. L. Aneja, a well-known and now retired teacher of Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi, in writing a book, Deutsch Interessant for the school children.
10. Got my first assignment to use my knowledge of German language, when I worked in a German Exhibition "Technogerma", held in New Delhi in March 1998, as an interpreter for a German Delegate.

Training

Training received in India as well as in Germany:

1. Received an advanced training course to teach German as a foreign language on scholarship at Goethe-Institute in Munich, Germany, from May 1992 to June 1992.
2. Participated in two seminars on a teaching program, "Grammatik im Unterricht", on scholarship at Max Mueller Bhavan, Pune, from May 1990 to June 1990 and May 1991 to June 1991.
3. Completed teacher’s training in German language at Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi, from August 1988 to March 1989.

Qualification

1. Completed M.A. in German language with I^st Division as an external candidate from Karnataka University, Dharwad, in July 1993.
2. Passed a diploma course "Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom" held by Munich University, with "good" grade.
3. Acquired all certificate courses offered by Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi with "good" grade in German language, i.e., Grundstufe-I, II and Mittelstufe-I, II.
4. Sent to Staufen in Germany, on scholarship, to take part in an advanced level course M-III for two months from October1988 to November1988 and passed with "good" grade.
5. Did my graduation from Delhi University in Mathematics Honours in July 1983.
