This happened to me on a trip to Digby in 1997. I was a guest at a A frame cabin (year round house) in the North West Range about 12 miles I believe outside Digby. I slept in the basement part in one of two bedrooms down there. closest to the bathroom. I awoke one night to use the bathroom . Very quiet and still.
The host asleep upstairs, she being the only other occupant of the house. I climbed back into bed and was only in there a few minutes when I heard a loud zipping noise (this is the only way I can describe it). out of the corner off my eye this thing looking like a white bullet. Came so fast then this sheet was being thrown over me on each side of me head I felt the strenght and it held me down tight. It paralyzed me. It was like someone was trying to smother me and I was wide awake and could not scream. It left as quickly as it had come it looked like a sheet ghost sideways or a bullet firing sideways only it was white like a sheet when I saw it and like the speed of lighting very fast and loud with the zipping noise.
This was most teriffing night and I will never forget it as long as I live.
