She always does

I try not to feed her

                                        
try not to pet her

                                         
Or make her feel at home
                                         
Oh, Would you please

                                          
just make her go away
                                         
I am so afraid

That someday

                                          
She will decide to stay
                                           
Forever
                                          
and Never
                                             
Ever

The reality of this monster
