Hi, my name is Gerald and I introduce you my project called Filtro externo like an E.M.P.P (electronic music personal project). By October 2000, a cloudy morning Filtro externo's name born and going throught a lot of predicaments that makes Filtro externo more stronger. Since I left my first place of abide I had to sell some gears, including my sr-16, mc-303, TX81z. Now I use my N5ex like a controller and playing sounds in real time adding knobs movements; I recorded it in Cakewalk proaudio 8, and also I use Fruity Loops 2 like my master tempo drum machine using drum sounds recorded from my synth into Sound Forge 4.5 and syncronized with midi Yoke. Finally I use my su-10 sampling unit to add some effect to my songs, mixing in this way all my stuff in real time.
My demo cd is called "around". Filtro externo has in its background five experimental demos cds before "around". they are Filtro externo "el último intento" (the last chance with 14 songs), recorded in February 2001; Filtro externo "follow me 01" and "follow me 02" (with 5 songs f.01 and 5 f.02) both are extended version of an original song called follow me, recorded in April 2001; Filtro externo "the best of 1997 - 2000" here I recorded 8 songs that never were shown before, recorded in July 2001; Filtro externo "igual todo se desordena" (with 7 songs) recorded in October 2001.
All songs were recorded in my personal micro studio.
