Kassar Wagon Camp is located on the Plains of Turia. Normally, a
P/person of the Wagon People would only travel to another Wagon Camp, or possibly to the City of Turia to buy, sell or trade.
The Plains of Turia: The Plains are also called the Land of the Wagon People. The Wagon People claim the southern prairies from Thassa and the Mountains of Ta-Thassa to the southern foothills of the Voltai Range. To the north, they claim lands to the rush grown banks of the Cartius River. The Wagon Peoples consist of four separate tribes: the Paravaci, Kataii, Kassars, and the Tuchuks. The Peoples are primarily herders of bosk, living off their meat and milk. They do not grow any food and will eat nothing of the earth. They are very proud and regard city dwellers as vermin in holes. The Camp of Kassar moves twice per year. In cold weather, it moves to a warmer area, where the Bosk can find better grazing. Then when warmer weather returns, Kassar moves back to the area on the Plains where it is not quite as hot. Each move remains within the Turian Plains, never elsewhere. A/all are notified of the eminent move, then slaves and Frees get things secured and ready to travel. When the day comes to begin the move, all participate to make an easy and enjoyable journey. |
