Camprules

                                                       Rules of the Camp

The following rules have been set out by the Ubar, and are to be adhered to in their entirety. If you have issue with something listed here, or if you do not understand one of the rules, take your concern to the Ubar and he will be happy to discuss and explain it out for you.

Kassar Camp is for P/person's age 18yrs and older, so if you are younger, please do not enter chatroom.

Please, A/all, when in Camp, be in Camp, please leave all messengers OFF.
It is hard enough at times to keep up in Camp when it is very busy, and even harder if messengers are on and using them as well. So, in all fairness, its best to just leave them off when in Camp and do the talking in Camp. Please have respect for Y/your Ubar as well. .When He is in Camp and bombarded with all kinds of Messages from Messengers.....ICQ, MSN, Yahoo....its very hard on Him to deal with Camp and read all those messages as well. Then He falls behind and may miss posts or not give timely responses. I too have a very hard time when this happens to Me as well. So please, be respectful and just leave them off, as Ramer and I plan to do as well.

General expected Conduct and Behavior for the Free

1. The word of the Ubar is law, he has the final say in all things pertaining to this camp. That does not mean that You cannot come and talk to Him or question His decisions. He is a fair and honest Man....and always open to discussions when here.

2. This is a Gorean Wagon camp, and all within it will observe this, and behave in a manner that promotes this. Things pertaining to r/t will remain in r/t or at the very least PM.

3. Members will make a point of being in camp on a regular basis. If you cannot be here for an extended period of time, leave a note on the boards to that effect.

4. Members will respect the property of others. No Member may discipline or harm in any way, a slave that does not belong to them. If the slave becomes unruly, or displeasing in behavior, cage them and leave them be until their Owner arrives to deal with them. Camp owned slaves will be dealt with by the Ubar/Ubara, and/or the first girl.

5. This is a No Kill / Capture Zone by Members Only and No Raid Zone at present until more Warriors and is a No Forced Ko'lar Zone.

6. If you are going to ask a slave to serve you, then be sure you are able to commit the time to paying attention to that slave. Make comments, let them know you are watching them. If the slaves do not feel they are part of the camp, they will eventually leave.

7. All Members of the camp are to stay busy, even the Free have work to do to keep the camp thriving and looking busy. Tend to your chosen trade, leatherworker, blacksmith etc. A busy camp is far more appealing to visitors. Also, there is a message board for Frees to post 'Chores', and this can be anything that You do in Camp...whether Your chosen trade, or hunting and bringing in a Kill, FW putting Food on to Cook...etc.

8. Members with slaves of their own are responsible to assure these slaves are in camp, and working on a regular basis at chores, and serving as required.

9. Only the Ubar, Ubara or Commander of 1000 may ko'lar a slave if the slave submits.

10. Any new slave ko'lared to the camp or one of its Members will begin at the level of a white silk slave until they have been assessed and shown themselves to understand and abide by our ways. And any slaves ko'lared in Camp will be placed in Camp Ko'lar {KWC} then after training a slave may go into a personal Ko'lar, however, We do believe in allowing the slave to have a part in this decision. The process for this shall be----When A Free approaches Ubar/Ubara about obtaining a certain slave, that slave must be at least Yellow Silk Trained. If the slave is also favorable to such, then the slave will be allowed to go into the the Free's ko'lar for a 2 week Loan period. This will give time for E/each to see whether or not things will work out for T/them. After the 2 week Loan is up and if agreeable, it shall be permanent.

11. Camp Members will not discuss with the Camp kaji the possibility of their sale. All such discussions will go through Ubar.

12. Threats, Foul Language or general disruptions will NOT be tolerated by ANY be it Visitor, or Member.

13. No slave may be rented out to Visitors unless approved per their Master/Mistress..or if Camp slave it must be approved per Ubar, Ubara or Camp Second. Any yellow or red silk Camp slave
may be furred by Camp Members, if it is also agreeable with the slave.

14. Visitors are welcome to enjoy O/our fires and food, but do not touch the girls in Camp without permission of their Owner.

15. A Restricted slave in Kassar Camp may not be lapped, etc. by Any not owning the slave. This
is to reduce problems occuring from such behavior, and truly it is not appropriate for a slave that
is restricted to be behaving in such a manner. We are aware that Some may disagree with this, but feel it is necessary after having problems in the past.

Laws for Free Women

1 Act as a slave, be ko'lared as a slave. The Free Women of this camp will know their place and behave in a manner befitting their station. You will conduct yourself with the utmost dignity, any blatant behavior of a sexual nature will not be tolerated.

2. Free Women of this camp will be constantly aware of who and what they are. They will conduct themselves with the grace and poise of a Lady. This includes abstaining from things such as "laying out" in the furs near the fire, or challenging and annoying the Free Men about the camp. As Free Women, normally you are to kneel in Tower as it has been stated many times in the books, and conduct yourself in a manner befitting your station, deferring to the Free Men of the camp as they have the final say in all things. HOWEVER, in Kassar, FW may sit upon the furs instead of kneeling in FW tower as do City FW. Also, FW of Camp do not wear veils. Of course, if taken traveling where they are required, be sure veils on on.

3. The av's worn by Free Women in this camp will be an appropriate deptiction of a Free Woman of Gor. There will be no outward showing of flesh such as cleavage, or any dipictions of the Woman in a sexual or otherwise provocative pose. You will receive one warning if your av is deemed inappropriate, following that you stand a very good chance of feeling the steel about your neck. If you are uncertain of what is acceptable, present your av to the Ubara for Her approval in advance. Also, as Women of the Wagon People's, leather dresses, or leather pants and top may be worn.
