The Honey Possum is tiny marsupial which lives on the nectar of wild flowers.This little animal is a nimble climber and often hangs upside down when feeding.Sometimes it shelters in abandoned birds'nests but often builds its own.The Honey Possum is found only in south-western Australia and has no relatives anywhere in the world. A low-spreading shrub,the Couch Honeypot flowers in winter and spring and grows in sandy and gravelly soils in south-western Australia. |
