Life is a journey of individual moments and experiences. The goal may be what motivates us into action, but it is the journey itself that becomes the experience. One day you will discover life IS fun.

So, lighten up. Discover new ways to bring pleasure and relaxation into your hectic life. Remember to take care of you. After all, it is your journey.

We have all heard of meditation, and how beneficial it is meant to be. Everyone wants time to escape our constant chatter and fear thoughts. Well, I for one could never achieve this quiet state I kept hearing about.

But, then, quite by accident I discovered another way. A majikal way to fly and float freely. And it was simple.

I must clarify that this is not seen as the way to escape our mind chatter, fearful thoughts, and difficult lives. This exercise begins in us, a method to spend some quiet peaceful time, a form of relaxation, to then go on and learn how to use dreams to start positive thoughts for our future happiness. It is a process to begin using intent in a positive way.

Get comfortable and try this. Rather than focus on one thing and force your thoughts to cease, as most meditation teaches, let them flow freely. Sit or lie comfortably and allow every thought in your mind full freedom. But add one thing. Dont pay any attention to them.

I found that 'a thought' and 'thinking about thoughts' are two separate things. And that when we allow each thought full freedom without jumping in to ponder them, they have nowhere to go and cease on their own. Simple eh?

So, close your eyes, relax your body and feel comfortable. Just let every thought float through your mind one by one. Whenever you find yourself paying attention to them, go back to ignoring again. It is like sitting back watching all these thoughts go by, as a 3rd person. I found that after a couple of minutes the thoughts became more intense, trying to get attention I assume, but when not achieved, they totally ceased after about 3 minutes.

Then I enjoyed the most amazing experience. I literally felt like I was flying. It was like dreaming while awake. I'm sure experiences vary, but all I have shown this technique to have succeeded and enjoyed the process.

Play with it, try out your own variations. See if you can find a lovely place to sit and float for some quiet time. Don't stress if your first time is not successful, it will be very soon.

Spend a week developing your technique prior to moving on with the next part, as this exercise will become your daily escape and relaxation. Its usage will build continually, soon you will be able to quiet and float at will, no matter where you are.
