Creating

There's a secret to creating that we humans have not realized. You can begin the process right now.

Firstly, the myths of creating. We think we need to create to 'escape' our situations. We think life controls and creates us, and what we think is merely reflecting that. Well, think again.

All those so-called dreaded experiences are so we may know their opposite! They are part of the creation process.

Think of all that you currently experience, each sad situation one by one. Now imagine what it will be like to know and be their exact opposite. Feel that! Focus on that!

Feel being unwell, so you may truly know and appreciate the joy of health. Feel your lack being turned around to plenty. Feel and know your loneliness, and the understanding you will have during its opposite. Feel your unhappiness, self-hate, and anger, just imagine what it will be like to have their opposite!

Whenever you think and feel the dismay of what you currently experience, stop and think again. Know these experiences are especially so YOU can become their exact opposite. Imagine that opposite, what it will be like. It will change how you view your life, and being trapped within it.

What we think IS the creating process. We literally tell ourselves what to create. So, next time you hear yourself saying what you expect to happen next, ask yourself this. Is what I am thinking what I wish to experience? If it is not, then think about its opposite happening. Wonder what that would be like to experience. Smile and imagine the exact opposite experience occurring, feel and enjoy that fantasy. Forget about it really occurring, this is imagination and play to learn the creating process.

For example: I am driving to work and the traffic is heavy, so I complain how I will be late for work. I hear what I think and after acknowledging, think of another scenario. I tell the other drivers to please move over so I can get through and arrive at work on time. I smile as I picture them changing lanes right before my eyes, and I casually drive past the congestion. What fun that would be.

Sounds silly? Are you sure? How much time do we spend in traffic, thinking and feeling stressed and upset? We think we have to physically do something so we won't be late. It really is all in our minds. That scenario is one I use often, and it is the best fun to ask others for their co-operation in moving out of my way, then see them do it instantly! I smile all the way to work.

We can literally play with our thoughts, recognize and acknowledge them, saying thank you for your input but I think I prefer another outcome to that one. Then think and enjoy experiencing it in our minds. Start with small thoughts, make it fun.

Now, write down and feel 5 future opposites for you to experience in your life. What are some simple things that would be nice?

For example: My office is an unhappy place, people always complaining and demeaning each other. My opposite to experience is working in a happy and accepting work environment, where people encourage each other and are kind.

My every thought is about my problems, I worry and feel fearful constantly. My opposite is to feel calm at knowing my problems will resolve, that there is more to my life than feeling the worry from them. I enjoy breaks from my life worries, with relaxation and calm feelings.

When you have clarified your 5 future opposite experiences, write one on each joined card (in pencil so you can replace with new ones as they are created).

If you feel opposition from within, know they are your gifts so you know exactly what needs attention, to create your future. Smile and put them aside until you begin that work. This current exercise is to create hope in feeling what your life will become.
