All the pieces needed to be removed.
NOTE: Maybe you can find a quicker way and remove less things, but these are the pieces I felt needed to be taken out to make the job less stressful and to be sure nothing was broken.
Sun visors (philips screw driver)
Ceiling handle thingys (philips screw driver)
Seat-belt height adjuster (snap off with fingers)
Once the plastic piece is removed, there is a 11/16 bolt that needs to be removed.
Several interior panels (snap off with fingers)
If you are removing these pieces in this order, now is a good
time to place your front seats in a VERTICAL position with the head-rest pulled up as far
as they car go. Once you remove the dome light, the ceiling has no support in the
front and basically falls on your head. The head-rest will support it so it does not
bend when it falls.
Dome light casing (philips screw driver)
The rear light colored panels around the windows furthest back only need to be losened at the top to allow the ceiling to slide out. (snap lose with fingers)
