History: Kiwi was dropped down the chimney of the Quinntel house. She was named after what had seemingly brought her there, which turned out to be a rather large Kiwi Bird.. Strange, though it might seem, no one knows where Kiwi previously came from. It didn't really matter, though, as soon after her arrival at the new home, her acquired parents were slaughtered. Being so little at the time, Kiwi failed to remember the attacker. She was then taken to the nearest orphanage, which was located on the island of Illisere. That is where she grew up, living undisturbed at the orphanage for ten years. Around this time is when various couples began to look at her. She was never adopted, though, as she had the strange habit of sticking things up her nose, even at age ten. She had been called psychotic on many an occassion, and drove everyone away with her 'strange' nature of chewing on the floor and biting people's ankles. Around this time is when the little raincloud that plagued her when she was a newborn came back to her. One morning, her only friend at the orphanage, Cocao, was found dead. After the attack upon her friend, Kiwi was distraught. She felt as though she needed to leave before anyone else was hurt, and literally gnawed her way through the door one night and got out. Not really knowing where she was going, she simply ran straight ahead until she reached the coast of the small island. |
