This tutorial is written for PSP7 and assumes you have a good
working knowledge of the PSP tools.

Any resemblence to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.


Supplies Needed

Paint Shop Pro
Eye Candy 3 Glass.
The Font I Used - BalaCynwyd Here
My Supplies - Here
This includes the tube I used, the gold gradient and my mask and pattern fill.
I have no knowledge as to the origin of the gradient.
If it's yours please let me know so I can give you credit for it.
The tube is by the very talented Audieanne at Montage Menagerie.

1. Open the supplies in PSP. Minimise the mask and pattern fill for now.
Shift & D to duplicate the tube and close the original for future use.
Image > Resize by 50%, Bicubic Resample, All Layers - Checked.
Image > Canvas Size 400 width x 400 height,
Centre Image Horizontally and Vertically both checked.

2. In your layer palette, click on the watermark layer to make it active.
Layers > Arrange > Move Down.
Floodfill this layer with the pattern fill you minimised.

3. Masks > New > From Image as follows.

4. Masks > Delete.
Click on Yes to the pop-up window.

5. Effects > 3D Effects > Eye Candy 3 Glass.
Using this configuration.

6. In your layer palette, click on your tube layer to make it active.
Using your Mover Tool, position your tube as follows.

6. Set your foreground to Gradient and locate the dden Gold.
Style - Linear. Angel - 315. Repeats - 0.
Set your background to Pattern and locate the purple pattern fill.
Scale - 100. Angle - 0.

7. Click on your Text Tool.
In your Tool Options - Text, set the Width to 2.
Layers > New Raster Layer.
Apply your text using these settings.

8. Position your text while still selected.
You can use my finished sig as a rough guide.
Selections > Select None.
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible.

9. Effects > Illumination Effects > Lights as follows.

10. Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow as follows.

11. Click on your crop tool.
In your Tool Options Palette, click on Crop Settings.
Select Opaque Area - Current Layer = Checked.
Click on OK. Then click on Crop Image.

12. Layers > Merge > Merge All (Flatten).
Save as a JPG and you're done!
