Discovering Body Parts
The human body is made up of many different external and internal parts.  Can you help identify any external body parts you have?  To name a few, we have 2 eyes, 2 ears, 1 nose and mouth, and thats just on your head!!
We are also going to look at a few internal body parts.  These are referred to as organs. To name a few we have a brain to think, lungs to breathe, a heart to pump our blood, and a stomach to digest our food.
So lets get started!!!
Please get a clean sheet of paper and write down the following answers....  Look at the worksheets below to help answer the questions.
1.  What in the picture do we have 2 of?
2.  What in the picture do we have 1 of?
3.  What internal body part is inside your head?
Leg, Nose, Ear, Arm, Mouth
Hand, Stomach, Nose, Brain
Now is time when we can get a partner, a pen, and a large piece of paper to begin creating our own life-size models.  Have one person lie on the ground while the other person traces the outline of the body.  When your finished label at least 3 external parts and draw in at least 2 internal body parts.
This is an example of what your pictures should look like.
Don't forget to label the parts.
