Originally built
as an 'M' low side wagon. Reclassified as an E and given number 871, used
by the Ways and Works branch until being acquired by Shantytown.
Restored during January 2004, fully repainted, and new deck added, this work being carried out be the 'new' fitter. Painting of numbers was carried out by the workshop 'boy' David Match. The wagon is currently used as parts store.
