Mehndi
Mehndi is the Hindi word for Henna. In India, a bride's hands are
decorated with beautiful designs using henna. I attended a wedding in
May 2005 which gave me the idea for this quilt. I traced my own hands
and used elements from various traditional and modern henna patterns to
come up with the design.
