Buffy held onto Spike as he looked at her and Angel slowly walked closer. " Buffy? ". " Back off! ", she said as Angel backed away and she glared at Giles. " Ok, Blondie, drop him and back away slowly! ", Eve said as they looked at her and she had a gun in her hand. " Are you nuts!? ", Angel asked as he looked at her and Eve smiled. " How did you get here? ", Giles asked as Buffy looked at him and had Spike in front of her. " Magic! Now, no one move! ", Buffy said when she grabbed a scaple off the the table and held it to Spike's throat. " Um, Buffy, what are you doing!? ", he asked as she held the scaple and she looked at him. " You back off or he gets a second mouth! I'll do it! I'd rather have him dead then work for you! ", Buffy said as the scaple scraped his throat and blood trickled down his neck. " She's bluffing! ", Eve said as Buffy held Spike and Angel looked at her. " I don't think so. ". Spike felt something churning inside him, something he felt before, when he reached back and touched Buffy's leg. " Pet, put that down. ". " No! ". " Listen to Spike, Buffy, and put the scaple down. ", Giles said as she growled at him and held Spike closer. " Bite me, Traitor! ", Buffy said as he pouted and she felt the tears in her eyes. " Bu-buffy, I mean it! Put that down! ", Spike said as she noticed the amulet glowing and she placed the scaple down. " What's going on? ", Angel asked when Buffy held onto Spike and he looked down. The amulet flared when Spike looked at them and sighed. " Ohhhhhhhhhh bullocks! ", Spike said when a white light hit Angel, Eve, Fred, Knox, and Giles and Buffy looked at him. " Spike?! ". " Great. And I just finished remembering everything. ". Buffy held onto his back as he sighed and she felt his heart pounding. " Sorry about the bathroom, Pet. ", he whispered and she touched his hair. " I forgave you for that already, Dummy. ", she whispered and he smiled. " Hehe. I also remember you taking care of me when I got my soul back and the whole thing with The First. I really didn't believe it when you said you believed in me then you gave me this. Looks like I'm going to repeat myself. ". " Spike, no, not again! ", Buffy said as he started glowing and he sighed. " Looks like, Pet, but, I think it's for the best. I wasn't meant for a second chance. Give Dawnie a hug for me. ". " No! I won't let you! I love you! ". " I know, Pet, I believe you now. ". " Then don't leave me! ". " Then do as I say and hold tight, Pet, lets do this together! ", Spike said as she held tightly to his back and tried not to cry.. Spike's head went back when the amulet flared and Spike howled and Buffy screamed. After the blinding light vanished, Spike and Buffy were gone but the white light still surrounded the others. ------------------------------------------- She was in the white room. Spike was on the floor near her as she knelt down and he was breathing. She shook him when he slowly opened his eyes and she helped him sit up. " Where are we? ", Spike asked when they stood up and Buffy held Spike close. " I'm not sure. I thought this was some dream world. ". " Are we alive? ". " Very mich so, William The Bloody. ", the male said as the twosome walked closer and Spike looked at them. The female touched the bleeding scrape on his neck when it healed and he blinked. " Hey, I know you two. Well, not really, but, I remember you from before. ". " Yes. We are glad to see you again. ", the female said as Buffy looked at them and pouted. " So, if we're not dead, then, where are we? What just happened? ". " You are between worlds and we rescued you. ", the male said. " You could have done it without all that pain, thank you. ", Spike said as he sighed and noticed that he was still wearing the necklace. " Spike, be nice. Sorry. He always gets cranky when he comes back from the dead. ", Buffy said as they looked at her and nodded. " So, can we go home now? ", Spike asked and they looked at him. " We will send you home and, seeing that you were both willing to sacrifice everything for each other, we will make sure that they will never come looking for you again. ", the female said and Buffy pouted. " How? ". " We will turn back time and erase any trace of Spike from their minds. As far as Angel and the others know, Spike never exsisted. Now, are you ready to go home? ", the male asked. " Bloody hell yeah! ", Spike said as Buffy held onto him and he looked deeply into her eyes. " Hey, Pet, when we get home will you...? ", Spike whispered in her ear and she nodded then looked at the twosome. " Well, then, let's get on with it. ", Spike said when the twosome nodded then waved their hands. Spike and Buffy vanished then the twosome vanished and the white room became quiet. --------------------------------------- L.A., California. Wolfram & Hart. Angel stood in his office while he and his friends discussed the trail that had just happened and Angel looked at Charles Gunn. Gunn had called for a dismissal of the case and Angel was not happy. Angel paced the office when he walked to the desk and picked the envelope off the desk. There was no return address as he looked at them and sighed. " So, what do we do now, Angel? ", Fred asked as he looked at her and sighed. " I don't know. ", Angel said when he opened the envelope and something fell to the floor. Angel looked at the necklace laying on the floor when he realized it was the same one that he had sent to his former love, Buffy Summers, The Slayer, and he pouted picking it up. " Hey, isn't that the necklace you sent Buffy? ", Wesley asked and he looked at him. " Yeah. She gave it to someone and whoever it was died when Sunnydale fell. ". " Wonder who she gave it to? ", Lorne asked. " Dunno. She never told me. ", Angel said when he pushed the button on the desk and the door opened. Harmony walked inside as she walked to the desk and smiled at him. " Harmony, take this to R & D, please. ". " Sure Chief! ", Harmony said then walked to the door and turned around looking at him, " Where is that again!? ". " I'll take her. ", Fred said as they left and Angel sighed pinching his eyes shut. " Remind me again why I can't stake her!? Dawn and Andrew had left Xander outside after the nurse came and told them to follow them and they stood in the doorway to Spike's room. Spike and Buffy were laying on the bed, wrapped in each other's arms, as they slept then Buffy opened her eyes and looked at him. The necklace was on the table by the bed as the amulet stopped glowing and Buffy gently moved her fingers along his chest. She could feel his breathing when she touched his hair and his eyes fluttered open. " Hello Beautiful! ", Spike said when she kissed him then felt like someone was watching them and she looked over seeing Dawn and Andrew at the door. " We're being watched. ", Buffy said as he looked over at Dawn and Andrew then smiled brushing the hair from her eyes. " Let 'em. ", Spike said when she kissed him and he held her close to him. |
