Spike growled as his black eyes scanned them and they looked warped and wrong. He roared as they backed up and he balled his hands into fists. A red light covers his hands as Daimon looked at him and Buffy turned Daimon to her and he saw the fire in her eyes. " What's wrong with him!? ". " I was afraid of this. He went too fast. See, even though he doesn't have a demon soul, he has demon traits. He's gone berserk. ". Buffy looked at Spike as Spike cocked his head side to side and tried to figure out what he was looking at. He snarled as she walked closer and Dawn looked at her. " Buffy!? No! ", Dawn shouted as Buffy hushed her and had the baby in her arms. Spike snarled as his eyes flashed and Buffy slowly walked closer. She hoped that somewhere inside him was her husband and he wouldn't hurt her or the baby. " Spike, Baby, it's ok. It's Buffy. Spike looked at her with that look he gets when he's confused or worried then he blinked and his eyes returned to their usual soft blue. " Bu-buffy? ". " Hello. ", she said when he reached for his son and she placed the baby in his arms. He slowly sank to the floor when he rocked the baby and she knelt in front of him. " This my baby? ", Spike said when she saw the look in his eyes and she felt a part of her breaking. " Yes, that's your baby. ". " No! Shouldn't have baby! No! ", Spike said nearly shoving the baby to her and she took the baby. Spike brought his legs up as he wrapped his arms tightly around his chest and rocked back and forth. " Spike? ". " No! No baby! Babies are for good people! ", Spike shouted as he buried his head and she touched his hair. " You are good! Here! ", Buffy said as he looked at her and slowly took the baby back. He held the baby when he rocked the baby slowly in his arms and hummed. Buffy moved closer when she stroked his hair and he looked at her. He titled his head side to side when he blinked and she saw the tears in his eyes. " Bu-buffy? ". " What? ". " I got lost. ", he said as tears trickled down his face and she gently wiped the tears away. " I know, Honey, but you're home now. ". Buffy got up when she walked to Daimon and he looked at her. Buffy growled at him when she walked to help clean up the damage and he looked at Spike sitting there rocking the baby. He walked to her when Buffy turned and he saw the daggers in her eyes. Spike rocked the baby in his arms when Angel and Faith walked inside looking around and Faith pouted at the sight of the mess.. " What happened here!? ", the figure said when he slammed Banbi onto the alter and she fought back. She swung at the figure but the figure was stronger then she was and the figure strapped her to the alter. Banbi fought to get free when the figure walked to table and brought over a large knife. The figure walked to the alter as her eyes went wide and she fought to get loose. " Wait! How about I give you what you want!? ". " You'll give him to me!? ". " Yes! ". The figure placed the knife down as the figure looked at her and sighed. The figure had told her where the enemy was so she could direct the demons the figure had summoned and the figure looked at her. " No trick?! You will bring him to me!? ". " Yes! ", she said as she fought to get loose and the figure sighed. " Fine. ", the figure said lowering the hood and Xander let her loose.
