| Peri is the sister of a very good friend of mine, Nikki. I met Nikki in a chatroom from The Compassionate Friends Network meant for grieving parents. As it turns out, Peri died in a car accident just 4 days before Shanon died. She was only 14. Without having contact with someone that knew exactly what this journey was like I just might have gone crazy. But more than that, I know that God sent me Nikki so that we could help each other. How else could sombeody with the same middle name as me with a butterfly tattooed on her shoulder too happen to be in the same chatroom that night at just the right moment? |
