new years 2000-1

well, by this time, kevin, heather and adam had left, so our group diminished, we hemmed and hawed over what to do for new years.  we didn't want to go to a bar, as no one wanted to drive, and you spend all night yelling and bumping into people, but no one we knew was having a party.  well, my parents were having a party, so at long last, we decided to stay home for new years.  turned out to be a fantastic time complete with fireworks, hot tubs and too much champagne.  there was even a special suprise from grandma...

my annual sunrise hike to makapuu on dec 31st.  this year, me, clare, morgan and lori made the trip, after wards, we introduced clare to malasadas.  yum.
