| when we first got to hawaii, there was not much relaxation to be found. the pool wasn't finished, and the deadline was our annual christmas party on the 23rd, which meant we were down for some immediate physical labor. we joked that if clare wanted to, she could have us all arrested for illegal alien labor... :) in any case, we finished the pool, and then three days of non-stop christmas cheer could occur... |

| christmas dinner: as per usual, we spent christmas dinner with the kempers and the myers. this year, it was at the kemper's, and they were kind enough to feed our entire crew. luckily kevin is their son's name, and he wasn't there this year, so no extra place cards had to be made. :) |
