What More Can I Say...
"What Are You Waiting For" is really quite an important song to me. A friend of mine passed away on July 3rd, 2003 from Cancer and this song was written in honour of him. Dave Atkinson, who was also the inspiration of a screenplay I wrote in University is one of the strongest, and most motivational people I have ever been blessed to know. This song is written in his honour and very loving memory.
What Are You Waiting For

(Chorus)
What if God came down and told you tommorow would be your last
Would you live for the moment or would you dwell in the past
Would you cry, fall to you knees and pray
Would you wait for tommorow or live for today
Where would you go and what would you do and would it be forever more
Who would you call, and what would you say...
Now what are you waiting for?

How is it the story's told, you grow wiser when you grow old?
But what if you're not given the chance
What if life is taken in a glance?

(Chorus)

The greatest lesson that w'eve ever been taught
Don't worry about what you don't have
Just be thankful for what you've got

So if God came down and told you tommorow would be your last
You could live for the moment but remember the past
You know who'd you call and you know what you'd say
Now what are you waiting for...
What are you waiting for
What are you waiting for
What are you waiting for...
