The concert was on Wednesday! It was so amazing! I went backstage at the beginning, before the concert started, and had my picture taken with the band. I felt like I was gonna faint! And then the concert started. Taylor Swift was opening for Rascal Flatts, and she was really good. When Rascal Flatts came on, it was truly amazing. There was this round stage in the center of the floor, and they came up onto that first. Then a bridge came down from the ceiling and they crossed over to the main stage. The first three songs they sang were Me And My Gang, Fast Cars And Freedom, and Take Me There. Oh, and the lead singer Gary brought two little kids (at different times) up onto the stage and the girl looked so happy and amazed (she looked about seven), and the little boy (looked about five or six) was so happy and high-fived tons of people in the front row. It was awesome!

It was my birthday on Friday. Fwee! :D Anyway, my radio station does this contest every weekday called Song of the Day. You have to be caller #9 to win. On Friday, the prize was two tickets to see Rascal Flatts in concert plus backstage passes to meet the band. I won! So I'll be going to a concert on Wednesday. Squee! The bad news is that today is the last day of Spring Break. Dangit. D:

I got back from Seattle yesterday. I went to a Terry Brooks book signing/ book launch for Dark Wraith of Shannara. It was really great, and Terry reminds me so much of my Grandad! Surprise there. Anyway, I got my new copy of Dark Wraith and my older copy of The Sword of Shannara signed. I also got my picture taken with him (courtesy of my mom). Terry's really nice and really funny.
