Problem statement : One of daunting tasking in any datacentre ....is that of ability to get hold of
console output i.e. ability to channelize the console-output of server's to a
                     kvm switch, networking cables.

Given the context ...the daunting tasking handling, organization the cables

                    weighing the pro's and con's of fibre-optic-connectivity, bandwidth's ,
                    network-speeds achievable , Power-consumption , negative effect's electro-magnetic ...radiation,
Ideally ...translate data-centre's into cable free-zones, discounting the fact that power-cords
or power-supply cables cannot be done away with.

leveraging 'Radio Frequency' ...to subsitute a KVM switch

....ideally adapting the 'tip' command ...to work over a RF protocol.

Given the advent of networking (tcp/ip) over RF i.e. GPRS

given the context most mother-boards(eg: gigabit) support multi-plexing (i.e. to pipe the output) of
video-out over RF (not same as the network-socket-module)

Opportunity A : the advent of remote-control-panel , terminal services, vnc-protocols ...may have

solved the problem to an extent ...but any malaligned or mal functioning 'NiC' can

ruin ...the flexibility or advantage's of these protocols.

viz. with the advent of 'RF' ...ability to leverage the 'RF' for such video-console-output,
viz. ability to listen over 'RF' ...to capture or view the console-output,
potentially ability to implement a PGP kind of hand-shake ...for security, also the
                     fact the advent of GPRS.

It may also be noted that ability or making the servers to channelize the video-out over a
serial port(how a projector is connected) so that the console of a lap-top can be connected or a remote-client
                can dail-in over telephone.

with the advent of wifi , how a gsm / wll based mobile networks function ...redundant access points,
redundant or dual RF based network modules in the client computers (pc's / server's / workstations).

Note: The above problem statement having been encountered in various scenarios
and detailed in various 'Proof of concepts' as mentioned in

        ....apply appropriate
'use-case' modeling, rationalize and arrive at a workable and feasible
solution both commercially and techinically viable.
