Opportunity/ Problem Statement : On web sites ...some times there may be a requirement of
customized client side drop down menu's,

In the most context to anchor or position these drop-down
menu's ...most of the times the either of the following

                                 are used

                                 a) offset ...calculated ...concept used and demonstrated
                                    by www.bobbyvandersluis.com/ufo/

                                 b) on-mouse over of the image-map

Design Specifications : Idealy in the DHTML ....all elments are identifiable
                                 with reference to a element-id

....hence ability to use the idea or scope of the event on mouse-over
of the element identified by element-id ...to display a drop down menu.

well given that screen resolution is accessible through java-script,
thus using raster graphics ...a dynamic image-map ...can be created or generated and
populated accessible in scripting ...viz. each image-map accessible with
dhtml elment-id or rather elment-id mapping to a image-map ...theology or idea being
                                 once screen-resolution is accessible ...a image-map of the elements-html on the web-page
can be generated ...and these image-map areas or islands can be tagged with element-id(dhtml or html),
...thus giving scope to innovative eventing like on-mouse over, on-click, right click ,
left-click ...etc of elements ...for scope one may refer to potentiallities
as in the RAD like VB (potential scope elements of the forms ...downloadable in
binary to the client-side) or Delphi kind of eventing using client side scripting
                                 on elements of a web-page

[ also ideally given that screen resolution is accessible via scripting interface...
the dot matrix carpet area is available , based much on the lines of as in a),
a menu or other html ...element can be anchorable ...a dynamic-hotspot
or image-map can be generated and populated ]

also ...elements of zoom as in imaging can be applied for elements of the
                                 web-page .....

The above require a enhancement to either web-browser or a pluggin like mspaint, Flash
(use for reference only) ....to inter-operate with web-browser ...to make the
DHTML ...based eventing a possibility ...this possibility has been amply illustrated
                                 in the document projects.pdf

Also refer to the document ...in the context ....opportunity_projects_271208.txt

In the above context (eventing supported) a 100 GUI windowing tool kit based client-side
application in a web-browser using Java applets is possible the intention is specific to
                                 the opportunity as specified above.
