Problem statement: ability to record ...high quality ....data ...in as compact a size equipment as posssible.



Opportunity:


 INgredients a:  [IBM for reference]  LTO storage tape's ...ability to record 40mb per sec and 400gb per tape.

                 This ideally as seperate integrable module that can be neatly arranged in a back-pack or a 
                 suitcase.

             b:  a high quality recording system (cam-coder or camera)...along with a pluggable superior
                 quality zoom lens and with night vision.

             c:  A long losting battery either lithium or alkaline , also a viable option to draw the source
                 from the battery of a vechicle


Objective: Given the quality depends on lighting:FOCUS, quality of zoom...range, FPs frames per sec


           from above given that a lite weight high quality system can be integrated ...that gives value 
           for money ....satisfaction for one;s trekking/wild-safari/other adventure sports.


Opportunity b: given that most traveller's use or carry a Laptop usually a high end ...with enough
               processing and storage capabilities.

              deriving from opportunity a) as above ....a  SATA interface that can connect device;s
              such as a cam-coder or a highend camera's that can be conneted to one's computer/laptop/
              dvd-writer/sata-other hardiskt or a flash memomry cache


              alternatives of  tcp/ip or fibreoptic based communication channels for data transferes
              and their viablity may be explored
