Not what 'movie' is being played out for you in place of the truth. Do you know the stories that inspire the spin doctors? For a quick alternative to the broadcast media, any of the headlines pages will get you to the meat of the matter without wasting your time. All of them that is except for Borat-his job is simply to make a statement that goes much deeper than todays headlines. Focusing too narrowly on any perspective, even if it is a fresh one you are still exploring, will keep you from seeing the bigger picture and may provide you with a false sense of security or surety. Having all the answers assumes others are ignorant and leads to a falsely inflated image of oneself- this very attitude has many times been the justification for occupation of many foreign lands and the susequent deaths of many an innocent. Borat is an easy reminder that assuming your perspective is the one everyone should accept may sound good at the time, but when you play it back later you might just realize the joke was on you-the intensity of the lesson learned being in exact proportion to the level of judgement passed out of simple ignorance.
I know, I take a perfectly innocent comedy bit and turn it in to some grand lesson about how not to behave...but you gotta agree, some people still just don't seem to get it. As a reflection of reality it does have a much deeper lesson for anybody willing to, again, take a few minutes to see yet another perspective. CNN vs. MSNBC does not offer a true choice-the words may sound different but the message is about the same. To switch channels does not equal switching perspective, you have to get away from that corporate conglomerate budget that has a vested interest in keeping your attention focused on their message. After all, a short-sighted and narrow-minded audience not only will buy into whatever the money making idea of the day is, but they are more likely to remain loyal (and ignorant!) even when truth comes banging on their door. Don't take my word for it, see for yourself who controls the media.
The perspective choices are a great way to see things a little differently. Most still keep with the theme of presenting breaking news or headlines but have so much more to offer than just that minor aspect. Open up side by side browser windows and compare with a CNN or FOX site how the stories are presented in such a completely different manner. I do not mean just in that divisive, polarizing way that is used to keep people too occupied with the argument to realize the story might be lacking substance, just different generally. AND THEN continue to compare because for all the good intentions used to pump the alternative out there, you still are going to find an obvious bias one way or another that will flavor some of these sites-money is not the only thing that clouds mens thoughts. If you must make up your mind, at least base it on a few (which is more than two) perspectives.
Last but not least: it is not a link to a news site, but will explain your role in the whole scheme of things. It is painless, a bunch of great art and a poem- the Great Illusion. If you haven't already realized you need to allow pop-ups (for most browsers anyway) trust me when I tell you now that it will not hurt your computer any to let that tight security setting relax for a few minutes. I am not trying to make any money from this site so all my links are clean-and the sites I would send you to rely on donations for the most part, but only to cover expenses. If any have turned a profit it hasn't changed the way they conduct themselves as far as relying on building a loyal base through honest effort is concerned.

Sometimes the clouds of smoke get so thick you cant see the truth...yeah, its from the pipe dreams, but why do they have to blow it up your ass? All for some NWO-new world order-an illuminati idea designed to control the worlds population under one central power by way of fear, poverty, violence...any means necessary. It is Bush, but it would have still been Gore or Kerry too-no difference in Republican or Democrat, only the propaganda spewed by corporate media implants the notion that we have a choice and creates division in our ranks to keep us weak and dependant. The war on terror stemming from 911 wtc attack is an example.
