Soulless Marmalade

This song I wrote kind of for Shang Tsung but at the same time it describes how I felt....I felt..soulless and empty.
I compare it to marmalade because some marmalade is sweet inside, but mine this morning was bitter
and it felt like how I felt.
Soulless Marmalade
The emptiness inside me�I feel empty�
I�m�soulless����marmalade.
You see me on the outside
I�m so pretty
But inside you don�t see the bitterness inside
Soulless Marmalade.
Why don�t you understand?
Why can�t you see through?
Why can�t I achieve you?
Must I live in emptiness for eternity?
I�ll search for your soul to fill the void,
Fill that soulless marmalade.
So you see me on the outside
I�m so pretty
But you fail to see the bitterness in me.
Soulless Marmalade.
I�ll stay here forever
Just to find you
I need you to make me whole
And fill the void
And give a soul to that marmalade.
Now you see me on the outside
And you look at my inside
I�m not so bitter now that I have you
Your soul gives me ease
And now the bitterness is gone
There is a soul in my marmalade.
