Mortal Kombat Another Story

A terrible sight met her eyes and she saw Shang Tsungs lovely palace in ruins. She desperately ran up the stairs and saw nothing but destruction. She cried out in despair.
What happened to my Shang Tsung???? Is he alive??? She desperately started levitating debris away.
A lump filled her throat and she felt like crying but she pushed herself to go further.
Crying wont locate him she told herself firmly.
She continued to move broken stones and such away and she recognized some of the remains to be part of Shang Tsungs corridor.
They must have fought here or something she thought as she continued using her magic to move debris.
As she moved a piece of what looked like the Chinese scroll that was on a pillar in Shang Tsungs corridor she located Shang Tsungs body.
Elder Gods! She said taking their name in vain.
She dropped down next to his body.
Noooo....this cant be...... She started crying softly as she held his head in her lap.
This cannot be!!! She wiped her face.
She attempted to drag his body away from the destroyed palace.
She stared hopelessly into the distance and her gaze hit Shang Tsungs Nethership.
His words echoed in her mind My Nethership will take us to my island.
Kanako was filled with new confidence. Sure she never drove a ship but she couldnt just give up. She could help Shang Tsung; she knew she could, so she used levitation to move his body onto the Nethership.
As she explored the interior, she noticed there was a map on the wall. She could easily use this to navigate.....then a cruel smile went over her face. She had forgotten all about Tojii. Tojii Kuruma.
He sailed plenty of ships in his life in school. All she could do was get him to drive the ship and kill him off on the island in the end.
She used her sorcery to teleport him there.
Hey...what am I doing here.....Kanako??? What happened to you? Why werent you in school??
Enough with the questions. I want you to drive this ship to this location. She pointed on the map to Shang Tsungs island.
Why...why are you doing this anyway? Where did you get this vessel?
Kanako sighed impatiently.
Listen...Tojii, she made her voice soft and sweet.
Shang Tsung....is my....father. The people I lived with were not my real parents. I just want to help him out........ Kanako started to cry.
I..Um, I guess I could, but...... Tojii shook his head.
Kanako frowned. She locked gazes with him and muttered a chant, making him helpless to obey her wishes.
Sure Ill take you to Shang Tsungs island!!!! Tojii said and he obeyed her and started to sail the Nethership to the location Kanako pointed on the map.
Maybe Ill keep him around; he can be a useful servant. Kanako thought as she settled next to Shang Tsung.
You know Tojii, I lied, hes not my father, hes my lover.
Thats....nice.....Miss Kanako. Tojii stared straight ahead, helpless to any opinion he might have had for he was nothing but Kanakos servant now.
Kanako sneered at Tojii and put her head onto Shang Tsungs chest. She could hear a low heartbeat so she knew he wasnt dead, just low on power and his body was asleep.
As the hours passed she found that Tojii had navigated correctly and they were on Shang Tsungs island and at his palace.
Good work there, Tojii. Kanako sneered and she took herself and Shang Tsung into the palace.
This place is different from his other palace, the one in Outworld was much prettier. She thought as she looked around.
She was able to locate Shang Tsungs living quarters here and she teleported him onto the bed.
Damn....lets see if I can remember the chant...... She was going to give him strength to bring him back to consciousness.
She carefully chanted the spell and she could feel herself losing energy as she slumped onto the side of the bed.
This spell took up a lot of the casters energy and Kanako barely had enough energy to cast it. As she lay on the side of the bed, asleep, Shang Tsung awoke.
What am I doing here.... He looked around and saw Kanako slumped over, part of her body on the side of the bed.
It really didnt take much for him to realize what Kanako did.
She brought me here....how the hell did she do it anyway?
But he didnt bother thinking too much about it. What really mattered was the fact he wasnt seriously hurt thanks to Kanako.
If only I had my damn sword, I could have taken Quan Chi and we wouldnt be here..... Shang Tsung gently picked up Kanako and laid her out on the bed letting her rest up.
I suppose all I have to do is stay here building up power once again... he sighed.
At least I have Kanako by my side.
One day we will take the realms and when that happens, what a sweet victory that will be......
The End?????
